I absolutely loved this Movie, it is set in the 1870s when one could still go around from Town to Town to earn a living reading the News to paying Audiences.
150 Years later now we can get all the News we want in our Smartphones. I liked very much how they were able to capture what it was like to live back in those Days, where the Town Roads are either Dusty or Muddy.
Or when as soon as you step out of Town, it is either the open Plains or creepy Forest Paths which is often filled with danger. It is a pretty effective Western Adventure with nice Storylines about the Kid and the Captain's past.
Decades later and Tom Hanks is still hitting the Ball out of the Ballpark in terms of Movie Quality. Helena Zengel was great as the headstrong, semi-wild Kid who was kidnapped by the Indians at a younger age and rescued later. A Must-Watch for me.
