Here are what I think are the at least watchable to Best Series and Movies that I watched on Netflix for the Month of May 2025:

 * John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023) Movie – Outstanding, the usual intense, stylish visually addictive Franchise that many People have grown to love very much, including me. The stunning Cinematography coupled with the Posh Settings is one Thing that set this Movie apart, along with the long and very intense fight Scenes and fascinating World-building. To those unfamiliar with the Franchise, this is about a Hit Man who must now find a Way to gain his Freedom from the Organization that hired him in the first Place. With nice Twists and very interesting new Characters, this might be the last of the John Wick Character himself, but only time will tell if this will indeed by the Case. In the meantime, Spin-Offs from World of John Wick are expected to materialize soon.

* The Eternaut (2025) Season One Series – Highly recommended, this is a Science Fiction (Sci-Fi), Post-Apocalypse Survival Drama Series set in Contemporary Times about a Mysterious Snow that kills People, and how the Survivors dealt with its Aftermath. Although the setting is mainly in Argentina, it is implied that the Weather Disturbance is actually a Worldwide Phenomenon. It is a bit slow on some Spots, but it does have some interesting Twists that Things are just what they initially seemed. The Characterizations are also great, as are the Portrayal of the Personal and Emotional Conflicts that the Survivors go through. This is an Adaptation of a famous Novel in Argentina, and it shows in the Quality of the Plot and Characters. One of the better Series on Netflix for this Month of May, 2025.

* The Four Seasons (2025) Season One Series – Outstanding, this is a Comedy-Drama about three Couples living in the United States (US) in Contemporary Times who also happen to be lifelong Friends who like taking their Vacations together. The Series then tackles the Relationship and Conflict Issues that occur between them, especially when some of them end up going thru a so-called “Mid-Life Crisis”. The Characterizations are pretty good, and the Script itself is pretty smart, leaving a lot of Plot Clues which they end up using or exploiting later on in other Episodes.

There are also some nice Twists, set up beautifully by the Scriptwriters. The Humor is also pretty good, some of them occurring at the End of the Episodes. Overall, just a nice, funny Series on Netflix, one of this Year’s best so far for me. On a Side Note, this Series is actually based on a Movie that was made in the 1980s which starred Alan Alda, who is in his late eighties now but still was able to make a Cameo Appearance in one of the Episodes, which was a nice touch.

* Untold: Shooting Guards (2025) Documentary Movie -

* Conan O'Brien: Mark Twain Prize (2025) Netflix Event Special -

* Love, Death and Robots (2025) Animated Series -

* American Manhunt: Osama Bin Laden (2025) Limited Documentary Series -

* Untold: The Fall of Favre (2025) Documentary Movie – Outstanding, this is about the Fall from Grace of a very famous and accomplished Football Player in the United States (US), Brett Favre who got involved in some Sexual Misconduct and Financial Scams.

* Air Force Elite: Thunderbirds (2025) Documentary Movie – Outstanding, this Movie is about the “Thunderbirds” Aerobatic Team of the United States Air Force (US) which flies the F-16C Fighting Falcon Aircraft. It follows a Team as it goes thru Training and eventually Certification Process for them to perform their Aerial Stunts mainly in the US. Plus some nice Aerial Shots of the Team doing their Aerobatics, especially in the final third of the Movie.

What struck me most was how short the Stints of the Pilots are in the Team, each only gets to spend around two Years with the Team with around half of the Team leaving every Year as I understand their Rotation. But despite this, they are still able to do their very dangerous Stunts with great Precision. Anyway a Must Watch, especially if you are an Aviation Enthusiast.

* Dept. Q (2025) Season One Series – Highly recommended, this is a Detective Drama Series set in Contemporary Times in Scotland about a new Department that was tasked to investigate “Cold Cases”, or Criminal Cases that have remained unsolved in open for some time. The Pacing is a little bit slow, and there some Leads they followed that ended up as just Dead Ends at the End of the Series, but the Characterizations are superb enough to keep the Episodes interesting, along with the Twists and Mysteries of the Case they were trying to solve. The Creator of this Show is Scott Frank who is also responsible for some other Excellent Series on Netflix such as “Godless” (2017) and “The Queen’s Gambit” (2020). I suggest you all follow closely his Work, he is one of the Best Series Creators on Netflix right now.
