* The Last House (2026) Netflix Original Movie – Above Average, this is an Apocalyptic-Science Fiction-Horror-Thriller about a Family of four set in contemporary times in the United States (US) who ended up being mysteriously trapped in a House. While watching this, it gave me some Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) vibes when everyone was also trapped inside their Houses. I thought the Script did a pretty good Job in keeping the Audience engaged and interested in watching it, but a few Flaws kept me from giving this an Outstanding rating. First off it was fairly predictable, thanks to the Clues it made at the very start of the Movie, and also of the Trailer, I felt they gave too much of the Plot away in it so some Surprises ended up being given away. I also thought that the Performance of the Children, especially in the latter Part of the Film felt a bit flat, and that the Final Part felt a bit rushed. Still, the Production Values are good, and the Special Effects were pretty good to make this an entertaining enough Movie to watch.
* Inside the Trustor Scandal (2026) Netflix Original Documentary Movie – Outstanding, this is about a Group of Swedes and Brits who managed to come up with a Scam to buy a Company in Sweden with its own Money. This is a high-finance Type of Scam and gives a good Idea of how they were able to pull it off. They also were able to skim a good Deal of Money from the Company itself, and they probably would’ve gotten even more except that some of the People involved got too carried away with suddenly having so much Money and ended up spending it extravagantly, eventually catching the attention of the Press and the Police in both Sweden and the United Kingdom (UK). A pretty good Documentary watch on Netflix, as usual, and somewhat even informative also.
* Nosferatu (2026) Movie – Outstanding, this Psychological Horror-Thriller is about a Vampire Creature who went out to terrorize a Couple and an entire Town in Germany in the 1800s. The whole Movie has that eerie Atmosphere about it, kudos to the Director for effectively pulling that off. The usual Physical Type of Horror is there, but it is the Psychological Aspect that makes it scarier. The Acting of the entire Main Cast is excellent, they all did very well and one Reason why I think the Movie worked so well. I also like the old-style Dialogue which is very much what you would see in a Live Theater Performance. However, great as it is, I am not sure if this Movie is for everyone because at times it does come off as a bit too unsettling. Depictions of Madness, Seizures, etc. seems too much to watch in certain Parts. Nevertheless, a very entertaining Movie to see as it offers something somewhat refreshing and new to watch.
* Freefall: A Reckoning for Boeing (2026) Netflix Original Documentary Movie – Outstanding, this is about the Problems currently facing the American Aircraft Manufacturer “Boeing” after a number of their Passenger Aircraft crashed killing hundreds of People. This Investigative Movie concludes that these Aircraft crashed due to the Company’s shift in focus from Quality to Corporate Greed and Profitability where Quality Concerns were sidelined in the Name of producing Aircraft for as fast as Possible. It also focused on the so-called “Whistleblowers”, or People who worked on the Company but eventually providing Inside Information on the excessive Cost-cutting that were being done. A great Watch as usual like many of Netflix’s Documentaries, providing a valuable Insight on one of the most Visible Issues of our Time.
* Facing El Chapo (2026) Netflix Original Movie – Above Average, this is a Mexican Production, Action-Thriller about two Police Officers in Mexico who somehow ended up taking into custody one of the most feared Drug Lords of all time, Joaquin Loera, who is also known for his Nickname, “El Chapo”. The Acting, Dialogue, Plot, Production Values, etc. are as good as that of a major Hollywood Movie, but of course they speak in Spanish although I watched the Movie with its English Dubbing. This is great for Mexico because despite of the Notoriety of the Drug Cartels there, it showed that some Law Enforcers still are able to resist the corruption brought about that those Cartels. This is a pretty effective Thriller, my only Issue is that the Ending involving the Family of one of the Police Officers was a bit predictable, even if they did try to make it as a “Twist” of some sort. Still a very good Movie to watch on Netflix, it lived up to my Expectations of it when I first learned about it.
* Untold: The Testimony of Vince Young (2026) Netflix Original Documentary Movie – Outstanding, this is about a Star Football Quarterback in the United States (US) who had an outstanding and legendary Career in College, but who subsequently ended up having Personal Problems when he turned Professional as his Childhood Issues started becoming apparent, and then also having Financial Problems later after being swindled by somebody who handled his Finances. A great Documentary as usual for Netflix, but sometimes I wonder if they are running out of these Sports Tragedy Stories to tell as Vince’s Career, while controversial at times, wasn’t exactly that bad. In fact in the End he did end up with sort of a Happy Ending, with him still preserving some of his Wealth and was still being actively recognized at the University of Texas (UT) where he once played. But nevertheless a pretty interesting and engrossing Documentary to Watch on Netflix.
* Death of the Pastor’s Wife (2026) Netflix Original Documentary Movie – Outstanding, this is about a Woman who ended up committing Suicide after being relentless bullied and harassed by her Husband who was also a Pastor of a Christian Church in South Carolina in the United States (US). The Woman was basically groomed by the Pastor starting a young age before eventually marrying her, but their Marriage didn’t work out. There’s something just sort of profound seeing overly religious People like the Pastor ending up being such a Hypocrite and violating basically everything that he was preaching to other People. His Wife’s Death was obviously a Suicide, she did make a 911 Call saying so before she did the Act, but I am glad that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is now investigating the Pastor and I hope they do get him for something substantial so his Wife can at least get some sort of Justice after everything that he did to her. Another great Documentary by Netflix, one that is slowly being discussed more on Social Media based on what I have observed so far.
