* Enola Holmes 3 (2026) Netflix Original Movie – Good Enough to Watch, this is a Mystery-Action-Adventure Movie set in the 1800s about the supposed younger Sister of Sherlock Holmes as she goes work on solving Mysteries on her own, with the help of her famous Detective Brother, of course. This is the third Installment in the “Enola Holmes” Franchise, this one is just not as good as the first two Films as far as I can remember. The Mystery Part seems a bit forced, as are some of the Action Sequences later in the Movie. There are still some good Stuff enough to watch, like the Humor in some Parts work very well, and Millie Bobby Brown has enough Charisma to carry a Movie on her own. I also like the Parts where they tackled the United Kingdom’s (UK) Colonial Ambitions during those times. I’m not sure if we will see more of Enola on Netflix, but if it does, I am hoping it goes back to what made the previous Movies work better.
* Smile 2 (2024) Movie – Above Average, this is a Psychological Horror Movie about a Singer who ended up being infected with a Demon Parasite that is seeking to kill her while infecting other People also. The first three-fourths of this Movie is probably the best Psychological Horror Movie I have seen in recent times, but is subsequently ruined for me by its very poor ending or the final one-fourth of the Movie. I just felt that the Writers just ended up convoluting the Story or Plot so much that they were unable “unconvolute” their Way out of it. It became difficult to distinguish where reality ended and the hallucination began, and eventually leading to a Plot Hole on how the Main Character was able to go thru the Motions of living while still in a hallucinated state. The Movie is still very much watching though, if only for the very creepy Atmosphere with they Way they shot it. Some continuous shots on certain Moments as well as lot of Close-up or Zoom-in Shots just added to its creepiness. Naomi Scott was awesome in the Lead Role as the tortured Singer, ably switching from terrified to spunky to whatever it is the Script required of the Scene.
* Little House on the Prairie (2026) Season One Netflix Original Series – Outstanding, I’m glad this lived up to Expectations, and then more. Westerns always tends to do good on Netflix, and especially this one since this is a reboot of the Hit Television (TV) Series in the 1970s. Everything about this Series is awesome: Very Interesting, well-defined Characters; Multi-level Story Lines, and great Insight on how life was lived during those times in the 1800s for People that were trying to settle in the West, as well as tackling some of the Issues that were very much present back then. Lots of nice Twists that will leave you guessing, just a great, entertaining and watchable Series, one of the Best on Netflix for this Year of 2026 so far.
* Shipwrecked: Nightmare at Sea (2026) Netflix Original Documentary Movie – Above Average, this is about the Grounding and partial sinking of the “Costa Concordia” Luxury Cruise Ship in Italy back in 2012. As usual among Netflix’s Documentaries, it was pretty good, interviewing some of the Survivors and showing some Smartphone Footages of the Event. I particularly liked the Part where they shared the Audio Recordings from the Black Box at that time when the Incident happened, it gave a more or less better understanding of what really happened.
In the End, I thought the Ship Captain was quite a Loser for abandoning his Passengers and getting on a Life Boat first, but eventually analysis shows he was not really at fault, it was the Helmsman who misunderstood his Command for around 13 seconds which resulted in the Disaster. I didn’t like though that they didn’t animate some of the Situations some of the Passengers were describing and just relied on verbal Testimony. I also felt that some of the Situations some of the Passengers underwent weren’t really that dangerous and were just somewhat exaggerating it. After all the Ship was not only in shallow Water but also near the Shore when it was grounded.
* Elite Force (2026) Season One Netflix Original Series – Above Average, this is Drama-Action-Thriller French Production about France’s famous Counter Terrorism Unit, the Groupe d'Intervention de la Gendarmerie Nationale (GIGN). The Pacing is good, and I like the equal Distribution of Drama, Action and Thrills in this Series, with some nice Plot Twists. It also shows some of the interesting Equipment used by the GIGN like their standard Full Face Transparent Bullet Resistant Visors and that Square Device they used to break Glass Walls and Windows instantly. My only sort of the Complaint is that the Villains seem to lack proper Motivation, like how were they convinced to go on basically a Suicide Mission just like that? It didn’t seem to make a lot of Sense and no Explanation was put forward. But still a pretty good Watch on Netflix.
* A Toxic Love Story (2026) Netflix Original Documentary Movie – Outstanding, this is about a very toxic Love Triangle in the United States (US) that happened around the last Decade that involved a US Marshall and two Women. This is one Story that truly deserves a Netflix Documentary, with a number of very surprising Twists. I won’t give away too much since Stories like these are best viewed if the Audience doesn’t know what’s coming. Nevertheless, this is one of the better Documentaries on Netflix for this Month, and maybe for the entire Year so far.
* The Idaho Murders: College Nightmare (2026) Netflix Original Limited Documentary Series – Good Enough to Watch, this is about the Murder of four College Students in the United States (US). It was okay, but I found the Pacing to be a bit on the slow Side, spending a bit too much time on interviewing the Friends and Families of the Victims. The Murder Mystery Part was good when they finally started getting important Clues about the Perpetrator once they got into it. I felt that this would’ve been better if they trimmed it down into an hour and a half Movie instead of a Series and focused more on the solving the Mystery. But still a good Watch overall if nothing better is around.
