* Starship Troopers: Invastion (2012) Animated Movie – Above Average, this is a Science Fiction (SciFi)-War-Action-Thriller set in the far future about a Group of Soldiers tasked with fighting Insectoid Aliens, and is Part of the “Starship Troopers” Movie Franchise which started in the 1997 Live-action Movie of the same Name. The Pacing is pretty good, and so are the Action Sequences. There are enough Twists to make the Film relatively unpredictable, although the Computer Generated Image (CGI) Animation is not really just not that good, in fact I found them to be pretty mediocre.
There are also some Plot Holes, like how the Earth’s defenses seem too weak and easily overcome, and some Plot Armor on one of the main Characters. Despite these Issues, I found the Movie interesting enough to give it an “Above-Average” Rating instead of just being “Good Enough to Watch”. Some of the main Characters also in the 1997 are also in this Movie, which sort of gave it a good Continuity if you are familiar with that original Film.
* Chris & Martina: The Final Set (2026) Netflix Original Documentary Movie – Outstanding, this is Documentary Movie about the Rivalry of two of the greatest Women Tennis Players of All Time, Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert. It’s fairly comprehensive, we get a look at their Beginnings, the Highlights of their Rivalry, the Ups and Downs of their Friendship and their Fight against Cancer after both were afflicted with it later on with their Lives. I was never a Fan of Tennis, but growing up in the 1970s and 1980s these two were so Popular and were always in the News that it was hard not become a Casual Fan of them. These two are not only among the greatest Tennis Players of all time, but their Rivalry is among the greatest not only in the Sport of Tennis, but also in all of Sports. Truly a great and interesting watch, seeing these two in the Twilight of their Lives and looking back at what they have achieved back then.
* The Murder of Rachel Nickell (2026) Netflix Original Documentary Movie - Above Average, this is about the gruesome Murder of a Woman in the United Kingdom (UK) where the only Witness was a Child whose Life was somehow spared by the Murderer. The Story turned out to have some pretty unexpected Twists, as does the Best Real Life Murder Mysteries have. The Investigation did eventually have a satisfying Ending, but it took around three Decades for it to be solved. There are some slow Spots which are what kept me from rating this as "Outstanding". Unfortunately, the Crime also ended up exposing the Incompetence of some of the UK Police also. This Story was made into a Limited Series by Netflix also which came out just about the same time as this Movie, but I'm not sure if I'm still going to watch that one since I've already seen this Movie.
