I thought the Series is pretty good, but I am not sure if its for everybody because the Pacing is a bit slow sometimes, and also there might be a bit too much Philosophizing at times also.
If you don't like the Topics they are talking about, then it will come across as boring. At any rate, the Characters do talk a lot about Life, Death, Religion and God.
The Characterizations are pretty good, but I think the best Parts of the Series are the Twists, there are quite a number and you really aren't sure what is going to happen next.
The Directors and Writers also use a couple of Tricks up their Sleeve to make things interesting, like some continuous Camera Shots here and there to make the Scenes pop out.
They also those things where you hear some Characters say something about an Incident or Event, and then you see it happen later.
I loved the Parts where they sort of <<Spoilers>> blend some the bullshi* the Bible says into the Vampire Lore.
This would've been a Must-See for me if not for the slow pacing and Philosophizing, but overall I thought it was really good and worth watching.
