My Watchable to Best Series and Movies on Netflix for the Month of February 2026

Here are the what I think are the "at least watchable" to the Best Series and Movies that I watched on Netflix for the Month of February 2026:

* Hightown (2020) Seasons One to Three Series – Above average, this is an Adult, Sexy Crime Drama about a Woman Law Enforcer who got involved in her Town’s Drug Problems after the Murder of an Informant.

SEASON ONE: The great Characterizations and great Charisma of some of the Actors and Actresses are some of the main Reasons why I ended up watching it and actually finishing the Season. The Storylines are also interesting, but are a bit of a slow burn at some Spots. Another Factor that makes this Series interesting to watch is its “Mature Content”, which is typical of an original Starz Network Production.

For this Season One, I estimate that the Series averaged at least two Sex Scenes per Episode. Also typical of a Starz Production though is that it also big in Terms of the Lesbian-Gay-Bi-Trans (LGBT) Content, with the Lead Character herself being a Lesbian and the Town also being quite welcoming to the LGBT Community. The Way some of the Topics like Drug Addiction are a bit depressing to watch, but still one of the more interesting Series that Netflix managed to get from Starz.

SEASON TWO: The Story continues as some old Characters were lost, new Characters introduced and minor Characters upgraded to major ones in the new Season. Noticeably there is much less Sex Scenes this Season, but they more than made up for it with more Twists and Turns. This has got to be one of the better Crime Dramas I have seen recently, with the Characters so well written we can see and empathize with their own Personal Struggles. But again, there are some slow Spots which others might not like very much. But for me, this second Season is about as good as the first, Above Average.

SEASON THREE: Again, some Characters lost or became minor ones, others “graduated” into getting more Screen Time and new Characters introduced. I did notice that the Sex Scenes made a bit of a Comeback, much more than on Season Two but not as much as Season One. This Final Season is around 30% shorter than the first two, and I felt that they was still enough Material to work with for them to make at least another Season, but for some Reason it ended up being cancelled. I have to say that this is one of the Best Crime Dramas I have seen on Netflix since “Ozark”, it really makes you feel invested in the Characters. Too bad it ended, but who knows, if it does well enough on Netflix then we may see at least another Season of this excellent Series.

* Queen of Chess (2026) Documentary Movie – Outstanding, I was eagerly waiting for this Movie ever since I saw it’s Trailer a Month or so ago because I was a big Fan of the 2020 Hit Series, “The Queen’s Gambit” this is basically sort of a real Life Version of that. This Movie in a mainly Autobiographical Documentary of Judit Polgar, considered as the greatest Woman Chess Player of all time as of now because of her Accomplishments of being the only Woman to have reached the Top 10 Chess Players of the World, and the only Woman to have beaten a Number One ranked Chess Player during her time.

Judit was active from the 1990s to near the mid-2010s, and was a Product of an Experiment by her Father to develop “Geniuses”, with her two other Sisters also ending up as accomplished Chess Players. There was also a lot of Focus on her Professional Relationship with with Gary Kasparov, the World’s Number One Chess Player during her time. Lots of nice archival Footages, and also a lot of Interviews of Judit, Gary and a lot of other Personalities that were close to Judit like Friends, Families, etc. I’m glad that this one lived up to my Expectations of it.

* Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model (2026) Documentary Series – Above Average, this is a Behind the Scenes look of what used to be a Worldwide Cultural Phenomenon, a Reality Series that was looking for Girls who could end up with a Professional Modeling Career, as told by the Hosts and the Creative Force behind it. I liked it when they looked back at the Highlights, Controversies of the Series, but what sort of ruined it for me was when they started apologizing for almost each and every Controversy because it offended the Woke Sensibilities of today.

It was a Reality Show, and of course they were constantly playing Things up for the Audience. This is was the Norm back in the Day when Reality Shows were King, it was just the Way it was and most Shows were even worse than this one. I also didn’t like it when some of the Girls started blaming the Show too much, I felt they were being quite ungrateful. For a vast Majority of them, this Series was the Highlight of their Lives, it was as good as it ever got IMHO whether they liked it or not. Anyway, I thought this Documentary could’ve really been great, but it just ended up being bashed by the Woke Culture.

* I.S.S. (2023) Movie – Good enough to watch, this is a Thriller set onboard the International Space Station (ISS) orbiting the Earth where six American and Russian Astronauts were forced to go up against each other when their Countries go into a Nuclear War and each Side was ordered to take control of the Station. This is a fairly good Thriller, with a good amount of unpredictability and with some good Twists. But it is a bit claustrophobic and bland since the ISS Setting was not very large and with a simple Layout. There are also some slow Spots which made a Story feel like a Slow Burn, despite the Movie being only one and half hours long. Still, there are enough Elements to make it at least watchable and enabled me to finish the Movie.

* Roofman (2025) Movie – Outstanding, this Movie is based in Real Life and is a Comedy-Drama about a Man who went into Prison for holding up various small Establishments, escaped from Prison, and ended up hiding inside a “Toys R Us” Department Store for a good Deal of time. Channing Tatum really did a great Job here in carrying much of the Movie, and Peter Dinklage of the “Game of Thrones” Series did an excellent Job in providing a complementary Role in Terms of the Comedy Aspect of the Movie. There are some slow Spots, but I felt it made up for it because of its outstanding End Part. One of the better Movies on Netflix for February 2026.

* Caught Stealing (2025) Movie – Outstanding, I knew nothing about this Film when I watched it, it was only in the End Credits that I learned it was directed by Darren Aronofsky, and my Reaction was, “No Wonder it was so Good”. This is a Black Comedy-Thriller about an ordinary Guy who somehow got himself involved with the Mexican, Jewish and Russian Mafias, and with a Dirty Cop. What makes this Movie great are the interesting Twists and memorable Characters. I recognized Vincent D’Onofrio only later in the Movie, and I didn’t even know Liv Schreiber was in it until the End Credits as both were almost unrecognizable in their Roles. This Film is another “Feather in the Hat” for Aronofsky, one of the better Directors in Hollywood right now. Pair him with a good Screenplay that is based on a successful Novel and you have a Recipe for Greatness. A Must-See Movie, another good one on Netflix for the Month of February 2026.
