* Untold: The Death and Life of Lamar Odom (2026) Netflix Original Documentary Movie – Outstanding, great to see the “Untold” Series is back with another Installment, this time it tells us the Story of what really happened with the former National Basketball Association (NBA) Star Lamar Odom and his infamous Drug Overdose, as told by him and the People around him at that time. I think the Problem with Lamar is that he lost both of his Parents at an early Age, but then rose to fame quickly despite that because of his Physical Talents as a Basketball Player, so he didn’t really have a good Foundation to handle the quick Fame and Fortune that came his Way. He couldn’t control his Drug Addiction, which sort of became his refuge for the Tragedies that befell his Life, like the loss of one of Children who was just an Infant. I hope the worst is over for him now, but with his lack of Self Control, I am not so sure about that.
* Anaconda (2025) Movie – Good Enough to Watch, this the latest Sequel to the “Anaconda” Movie Franchise, and instead of just a straight up Horror Movie, they turned it into a Comedy-Horror about a Group of Friends who went to the Amazon Jungle to make another Anaconda Movie. The Plot is a bit haphazard, it’s as if they didn’t really have a set Script in Place and just wanted to do Skits for Laughs that would sort of fit into the Movie. Most of the Skits aren’t really funny, but some of them do work, enough to make Things interesting and for me to finish the Movie. Some Cameos also from the original or first “Anaconda” Movie. Overall nothing great, but enough to while away if you have some extra time.
* The Truth and Tragedy of Moriah Wilson (2026) Netflix Original Documentary Movie – Outstanding, this is about the Murder of a multiple Champion Gravel Cyclist in the United States (US) during the Prime of her Life. The Movie did a great Job in setting up Things so it ended up like watching a Murder-Mystery if you have no prior Knowledge about this Woman and what happened to her. Much of the Movie is also spent as sort of like a Tribute to Moriah where the People who cared for her get to share their Stories and also show Pictures and Footage when she was still alive. Another great Documentary from Netflix, most of the Movies or Series I watch on the Platform nowadays are such.
* Untold: Chess Mates (2026) Netflix Original Documentary Movie – Outstanding, this is about the Cheating Controversy among the Top Players of the Game of Chess, namely the Norwegian Magnus Carlsen and American Hans Niemann, and the Website Chess.com that happened several Years ago. The Controversy was infamous for the possibility that Anal Beads receiving Radio Signals could’ve been one of the Tools that was used in the Cheating. As almost always in the “Untold” Series, this Documentary was told by the People who were involved in the Scandal itself. Personally I think Niemann was clearly cheating, they just couldn’t prove on how he did it at that time and up to now, but all the Circumstantial Evidences are there.
* Thrash (2026) Netflix Original Movie – Above Average, this is a Thriller-slash-Horror Movie about a powerful Hurricane which flooded a City and ended up bringing Sharks to come in Contact with Humans on a City. This is basically Netflix’s Version of “Sharknado”. It has some nice Thrills and Jump Scares in it and the Character and Plot Development were fairly good. But there were still some slow Spots here and there despite this being only a one and a half hour Movie, which is what kept me from rating it as “Great”. A highly anticipated Movie for me which sorts of delivers in its promise.
* Trust Me: The False Prophet (2026) Netflix Original Documentary Series – Outstanding, this is about a Filmmaker Couple who infiltrated a Sex Cult in the United States (US) that had been exploiting Underaged Girls and ultimately helped bring those who were Guilty into Justice. The Cult was headed by Samuel Bateman who founded the “Samuelite Group”, a breakaway Section of the “Fundamentalist Church of the Latter Day Saints (FLDS)” which in itself was a breakaway Sect of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS). Netflix for some Reason has been making a lot of these Types of Documentaries, this is around the third or fourth Documentary I’ve seen them make related to the LDS in the last several Years. This Series is quite riveting and gives a valuable Insight on how some of these Groups work, how they were able to do some of the Things that they did.
* A Quiet Place: Day One (2024) Movie – Outstanding, this is a Science Fiction-Horror-Thriller about a Woman with Cancer and a Stranger she meets just trying to survive in the Streets of New York City during the first Day of an Alien Monster Invasion. This is the third Installment of the “A Quiet Place” Movie Franchise, and this is actually a Prequel to the previous Movies. I’ve seen all three of them, and they have been quite Outstanding so far, some of the very Best new Science Fiction Movies of the last Decade. This Movie has the usual Thrills and Chills of the Movie Franchise, but it also has a lot of Heart, with great Character Development and an excellent Plot. This is a great Addition Netflix’s Must-Watch Library of Movies, even just temporarily as it will be shown on the Platform for only a limited amount of Time.
* Abigail (2024) Movie – Outstanding, this is a Fantasy-Horror-Thriller about a Team of Criminals in the United States (US) who kidnapped a young Girl but who ended up being trapped in a strange Mansion with a Supernatural Force hunting them down one by one. This Movie is a bit of a Surprise for me because I knew almost nothing about it until I watched it but it turned out to be so good. I did notice that it did have a Number of Big Name or Known Character Actors like Dan Stevens, Giacarlo Esposito and Kevin Durand. The Pacing, good Plot, Storylines, Storytelling, Character Development, etc. with some nice Twists. In Terms of the exploding Gore the setting inside a Mansion and the Cinematography did remind me a lot of another great Movie in the same Genre, “Ready or Not”.
* Kill Tony Mania (2026) Netflix Original Comedy Special – Good enough to watch, this is a tie-up of the “Kill Tony (KT)” Comedy Show to the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Franchise where several WWE Personalities got to Host, do Stand Up Comedy Routines, got into some Skits, etc in the Show. The Lineup of Guest Comedians for this Event was just not very good, not a lot of Laughs unlike in the other KT Specials that I have seen. Some of the Conversations were interesting, but overall just not as funny as it should or have been in the Past.
* Apex (2026) Netflix Original Movie – Above Average, this a Survival-Horror-Thriller about an American Woman who ended up being hunted down for Sport by a deranged Redneck in the Australian Wilderness. There are some slow Spots, and there were Parts where I had to turn on the Subtitles so I can understand what they were talking about since they were whispering too low. But overall a pretty good Movie, with some nice Twists and enough interesting Things happening onscreen to keep you watching. Pretty good Performance by Charlize Theron who gets to showcase her climbing ability in this Movie, and also by Taron Egerton who gets to play a Bad Guy in this Film and does very well indeed, showcasing his ability to play a Wide Range of Characters.
* 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (2026) Movie – Outstanding, this is a Horror-Thriller Movie about a Group of People trying to survive during a Zombie Apocalypse, it is the fourth Installment in the “28 Later” Movie Franchise. This is a bit like the “Walking Dead” Series, but set in the United Kingdom (UK). Almost everything in this Movie is good (Storytelling, Character Development, Plot, etc.), and I loved the Fact that it actually adds something unique and fairly new at least to me to the Lore of the Zombie Apocalypse. Ralph Fiennes is great in this Movie, as he did in the previous one, portraying a rich, complex Character, which (Spoilers: was why it was disappointing to him die at the End of the Movie). One of the better Movies on Netflix for the Month of April 2026, and there has been a Number of them already this Month.
* Should I Marry a Murderer (2026) Netflix Original Limited Documentary Series – Above Average, this is about a Woman Doctor in Scotland who got went into a Relationship and nearly got married to a Farmer who turned out to have killed somebody. The Story is a bit frustrating about how the Woman still insisted on continuing her Relationship with the Man despite she herself going out and reporting him to the Police. To me it also showed how somewhat too Bureaucratic the Way the United Kingdom (UK) conducts their Investigation on serious Crimes like Homicide or Murder. An entertaining watch, nevertheless, despite the frustrating Aspects of the Case.
