| Comparison of the real Comet Lemmon and 3I/ATLAS, Credits of the original Photos in the Article below |
The Theoretical Physicist Avi Loeb in his latest Blog that the Interstellar Object 3I/ATLAS still has not shown a clear Tail like what real Comets should look like after passing close to the Sun. This is based on the Photo taken by the R. Naves Observatory last November 5, 2025.
This is very unusual because if 3I/ATLAS really was a Comet composed primarily of Ice and Dust, then after passing close to the Sun it would've heated up enough to release most of the Gasses it had trapped in the Ice and form a Tail.
Loeb then showed a Picture of C/2025 A6 Lemmon which is a REAL Comet since it showed a bright, distinct Tail after passing close to the Sun recently.
On top of all this, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) of the United States' (US) National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) also revealed recently that they detected a non-Gravitational Acceleration (nGA) on 3I/ATLAS.
Now Comets have been known to show nGAs also as a result of either the Sun's Gravitational Pull, and/or the result of the release of their Gasses as the Sun heats them up as they pass close by. But the extent of its acceleration can't be explained by just the Sun's Gravity and since there is also no Outgassing coming from 3I/ATLAS, then where is its acceleration coming from, then?
Loeb proposes that this is because 3I/ATLAS may be being powered by its own Engine or Engines, if it indeed is an Alien Spacecraft.
